Her debut novel, Awake in the Floating City, is the winner of the Asian Pacific American Award for Literature, a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, and longlisted for the Climate Fiction Prize, the PEN Open Book Award, and The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize.
